Red Eye Puffer
Remarks: Red Eye Puffers are sometimes called Red Tail Puffers, Sumatran Red Eye Puffers, and several other combinations of descriptive features. They live in submerged plantbeds with plenty of cover and a slow current. They require a good amount of plants or other decorations to break up sightlines, as they will aggressively chase each other. They are best maintained as a group with a schooling fish that are too fast to be caught, such as danios.
Like with all puffers, red eye puffers need to be able to grind their ever-growing teeth down so foods such as whole shrimp, mussels, clams, and snails should be provided regularly.
