24k Golden Peacock Bass

Remarks: Golden peacock bass are a large, colorful predatory species from South America. They are mainly known as a game fish, but their enthusiastic appetite, personable personalities, and vibrant color have made them popular among those with tropical ponds and monster fish tanks. As they get very large when mature despite being the smallest species of peacock bass, they should not be housed in tanks smaller than 200 gallons or be housed with other species that can fit in their huge mouths.
